Steve Sweeney was a part of a group of aspiring comedians which included Lenny Clarke and Jay Leno that got their starts at the Ding-Ho Restaurant in Cambridge in the early 1970s. Sweeney was one of the first comedians to venture into television with a starring role in the sitcom “Park Street Under." Sweeney continued to make television appearances on “The Tonight Show” and “Letterman” as well as being a popular morning radio host on 100.7 WZLX – Boston. Currently, Sweeney is the co-host for the mid-day show, Sweeney and Malone, with Joe Malone on Boston Herald Radio.
